Love’s 32nd birthday

November is the month of our anniversary and Love’s birthday. However, since it came three days before our big trip, we didn’t really celebrate it.

I sent a bouquet of chocolate to Love’s office via Living N Chocolate which btw is highly recommended!

Then, I took a half day off, shopped some stuff to make him a homemade caramel cheesecake. I got the recipe of caramel from Food Network.

"Mix the brown sugar, half-and-half, butter and salt in a saucepan over medium-low heat. Cook while whisking gently for 5 to 7 minutes, until it gets thicker. Add the vanilla and cook another minute to thicken further. Turn off the heat, cool slightly and pour the sauce into a jar. Refrigerate until cold."

At night, as usual, we ordered food in, had dinner at my parents'. And guess what I get him for his birthday?? (One of the items, will talk about the other in my next post).

Khaira's birthday present printed on my birthday present and he loved it a lot!

That pretty much sums up his birthday, simple and sweet becauseeeee... we were busy preparing for our umrah trip in a couple of days.

Until the next post on our 2017 Umrah, in shaa Allah!

Love's Master Convo Finalllyyyyyyyy!!!~

I remember Love started doing his Master back when I was pregnant with K. K is five now.

Guess what?

He finally graduateddddddd!!!! Alhamdulillah.

People said he had it easy for thesis because he has me to push him, tak jalan ok, he did not do anything for two years.. stuck at thesis. Tak dengar cakap this one, so.. noo, I hope he's not considering to do his PhD, otherwise the headache is on me ;p

To be fair, he has a hectic schedule at work. Nonetheless, he did awesomely well for coursework.

Jokes aside, congratulations Sayang!! I'm proud of you!

Remember how he proudly wore T-Shirt on my PhD and Master convocation years ago..

Look what I surprised him withhhhhh... Tadaaa

It says "Attending my Abi's Master Convo"

Much love, everyoneee!!!~

Love turned 30

Love turned 30 on the 22nd November. This year, MIL decided to celebrate it at home where she cooked bibimbap for us.

Hubs was craving for Fuel Shack afterwards. So, we had burgers for dinner.

And no bake blueberry cheese cake for supper. So easy to make, I will share you the recipe here.

No bake blueberry cheese cake

250g digestive biscuits (small pack McVities)
125g butter (quarter Buttercup)
500g cream cheese (Big Tartura)
1 can of sweetened creamer
3 teaspoons gelatin (halal gelatin can be bought in Baguz)
Lemon juice
Blueberry jam

1. Crushed the digestive biscuits, mixed with butter and put it as a base, chill
2. Mixed cream cheese, creamer, gelatin and lemon juice in a mixer. Put it on top of the base.
3. Serve the blueberry jam as its topping. I bought the ones in Baguz, and I don't quite like the taste of it. I would suggest to go for Tesco's blueberry jam.

Happy trying!

...

Worth mentioning for my keepsake that, before we went for dinner, we dropped by at Grandmother's and that was the last time I saw her alive in her own house. She was later admitted the next day due to pneumonia.

14 years anniversary

21st November was our 14 years anniversary.

This year I prepared a 3 course meal for Love. So, that Saturday, after we were done with our dishes and laundry, we left the girls at parents' and had our little date.

I cooked Love's favourite appetizer onion soup, steak for main dish and blueberry cheese tart for dessert.

We had a wonderful lunch and back massage at Reborn afterwards :)

14 years and counting, Alhamdulillah.

Onion soup recipe (From Masterchef's website)

1 tablespoon olive oil
50g butter
2kg brown onions, peeled and thinly sliced (chill to minimise vapours)
200ml dry good quality cider (I used Heinz Apple Cider)
1L homemade beef stock (Obviously I used beef stock I found at supermarket, Knorr)
2 fresh bay leaves, 2 thyme sprigs, 2 sprigs rosemary (I just used McCormick's mixed herbs)
8x1cm-thick slices of sourdough ficelle (Iggy's bread) or small baguette, lightly toasted
250g coarsely grated gruyere
100g finely grated parmesan

1. Heat oil and butter in a large saucepan over a medium low heat. Add onions, cover and cook for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove lid and cook for 30-40 minutes, stirring occasionally, until onions are soft and caramelised.

2. Add stock, the bay leaf, thyme and rosemary and season with salt and pepper. Bring to the boil, reduce heat to a simmer, simmer soup uncovered for 10-20 minutes or until slightly thickened.

3. Ladle soup into ½ cup capacity oven-proof bowls set on an oven tray. Sprinkle a little gruyere and parmesan onto the top of each bowl of soup. Top each with two slices of toasted ficelle then sprinkle with remaining cheeses. Place under a hot grill for 3-5 minutes of until cheese is melted and light golden.

Selamat Hari Raya everyoneeee!!

Selamat Hari Raya to all my readers. Please forgive me for all the wrong doings.

Raya has been fun! Grandmother was back to her house after almost 3 weeks staying with us on Raya eve. So, first day is the usual. Except.. without Datuk around. Our first Raya without him. Al fatihah to Datuk.

Purple vs orange
Went back to Kuala Selangor on second day Raya. Couldn't make it last year because both dad and Love were worried of the fact that I was due anytime. I would say it is a wise decision that I listened to them both.

Third day raya well spent at Batai with the relatives.

Started working on the 4th day of Raya.. macam loser busy marking whole day. But back on leave 5th day Raya for a date with Love.

Wanted to play mini putt at citta mall but it is no longer operational, boo. Ended up watching ant man which was fun!

Loving my raya this year. Very grateful to the Almighty to have spend it with my loved ones. Hope yours went well too, peeps!

Anniversary and my first boss

I had to work on my anniversary, how fun? It was quite fun actually because I had training on Beaglebone. Geek stuff, so boring.

Colleague  sent this 9gag material to us during our training in ITMS; the IT lab

Love had to go to Puspakom and JPJ. Oh.. we sold our Punto and bought a new Iriz with 522 plate number (May 22nd; the anniversary, so cheesy the husband, my kind of cheesy).

Later in the evening, we went for a simple anniversary celebration at Secret Recipe, IOI city mall.

Guess who we met?

My ex first boss. Back when I was done with my SPM and had a 6 months part time job at Nando's Maluri.

Back when Love came all the way with taxi to Nando's and waited patiently for my lunch time to spend time with me.

"Have you tried making small talks with the customer," I remember once this boss asked me. I was not the best at making small talks.

"What for?" I asked naively.

"Sometimes it's not the food that they are paying for. It's the service."

Years down the road I couldn't agree more.

Later on.. we became close. He helped me to get my driving license. He would occasionally pay for my family's dinner and Love's lunch at Nando's.

Those family I worked with in Nando's.. they don't necessarily need to earn handsomely to have such fun life. I learned a lot from them.

"So, I have to call you doctor now?" my boss asked me.

"Don't you dare!" I laughed.

"13 years down the road, you're already a doctor," he said, grabbing the receipt waiter sent to us, insisting to pay, so typical of him.

13 years already?? I was shocked.

I don't remember much all those deep, meaningful conversations he taught me, I wish I do.

But the feeling a mentor left me still lingers. The feeling of being so loved is so strong that it makes me believe I can do anything in the world. Just like how he praised me in monthly meeting for making customers felt comfortable in the restaurant for my small talks. My biggest achievement at that time looked so silly now.

I wonder if I can ever left my students with that kind of feeling later on in their life.

Meeting one of the men I respected most in life during our anniversary has got to serve as a reminder for us, Alhamdulillah.

13 years and counting

Love and I are always pysched about anniversaries.

21st November marked our 13 years anniversary. 13 years since he proposed to me as his girlfriend in front of the boy's toilet in our high school. I was just done with my Tae Kwan Do practice in my Tae Kwan Do's shirt that was stained with chemicals that I just accidentally burned in my chemistry lab. Bad day ended with memorable ones. How time flies..

I love you, baby!

As always, both of us took a leave on that Friday. Had breakfast at our fav. mamak (the only mamak I ate), Ad Dhuha (the owner is a Malay, btw; my colleague's hubby) together with K, dropped by at Little Caliph to pay her fees, back at home to feed the little ones while Love had his Friday prayer. Then, leaving the girls for our little date!

We watched Interstellar and oh my goodness!! Have you watched? Have you watched? What do you mean you haven't watched???? Go watch now! Totally worth my 3 hours and the dizziness due to the aftermath.

Then, we had our early dinner at TGI Fridays. New menu, everybodyyyy!! Loaded chip Nachos! Recommended by the waiter with the description, "Macam kerepek makan dengan cheese." Made us laughed, but actually that was exactly how it tasted like.

Pic in hubby's phone, so I stole this pic from google

Okay, the best part.. what did I give him for our anniversary?

Photobook, yo! A compilation of all our pics from 13 years back!!!

I bought the Photobook from Groupon. Made it at http://www.photobook.com.my/. The design and all can be done online. They even provide templates. The process is very simple. And you just submit the design and the pics online, the next day it arrives at your doorstep.

The best part is, Love loves it a lot!! Hehe.

The next day was his birthday, he had 3 celebrations this year. Amboi!

I made him a no bake Nutella Cheese Cake! While both Love and Aisha were asleep, I brought Khaira with me to buy the ingredients and before both of them were awake, the cake was almost done!

The crumbs on top were done by K

Not pretty, but really yummy. Both my brothers had 3 slices at once. I know Love would love to have 3 slices too, but he was on diet so.. *perasan mode on*

Seriously, it's easy to make and yummy (the yummiest no bake cheese cake I've done). I don't fancy baking. At all. But come on, this is a no bake cake and for my hubby's bday. Once a year ok lah kan.. because he's the only guy I'd bake for in this world (not lazy, ok, sweet! Haha!).

If you happen to follow my Instagram and Facebook, some of my friends asked me what happened with the parcel from UK.

Like I predicted, he didn't manage to find it. It was under the bed, he looked but couldn't find. Guys! Then I put it in my laptop bag next to his. Couldn't find as well. And finally I put it in the paper bag where he usually placed his baju-kotor-yang-can-still-pakai (guys!), mestilah tak jumpe jugak! So, he got his present on his birthday, lupe ambil gambar ok. Next time, in shaa Allah!

Anyhow, doakan kami bahagia until jannah!

For those interested with the no bake Nutella cheese cake; copied from Nigella's website.

Ingredients (*tak logik kan I ada penimbang or able to measure in gram segala ingredients ini, jadiku pakai hentam)

250 grams digestive biscuits (McVitie's besar = 400gm, so agak2 la separuh lebih sikit)
75 grams soft unsalted butter (1 bar setengah)
1 x 400 grams jar nutella (at room temperature)
100 grams chopped toasted hazelnuts (tak jumpa hazelnuts, so pakai digestive biscuit punye crumbs)
500 grams cream cheese (at room temperature) (1 pack Tatura besar)
60 grams icing sugar (sifted)

Method

  1. Break the digestives into the bowl of a processor, add the butter and a 15ml tablespoon of Nutella, and blitz until it starts to clump. Add 25g/3 tablespoons of the hazelnuts and continue to pulse until you have a damp, sandy mixture.
  2. Tip into a 23cm/9inch round springform and press into the base either using your hands or the back of a spoon. Place in the fridge to chill.
  3. Beat the cream cheese and icing sugar until smooth and then add the remaining Nutella to the cream cheese mixture, and continue beating until combined.
  4. Take the springform out of the fridge and carefully smooth the Nutella mixture over the base. Scatter the remaining chopped hazelnuts on top to cover and place the tin in the fridge for at least four hours or overnight. Serve straight from the fridge for best results.

My 29th birthday

The eve of my birthday, I was in my late uncle's house. It has been a year since he left us. The pain has lessen a bit for me.. Time does heal everything.

Love was not there with me. He was enjoying WWE live with fil. He came back just before midnight to wish Happy Birthday to me.

My birthday fell on Sunday. So we had lunch at in law's, tea at grandmom's and dinner at my parent's where people made fun of the fact that I'm turning 3 series next year.

Brother was so sweet to buy me cake.. with 3 candles; making fun of my age. Pfftttt.. Nonetheless, the fact that I spent my birthday with my loved ones means a lot to me.

Wrapped up the day watching "The fault in our stars" with Love. Stopped a couple of times with Aisha's cry which I seriously don't mind at all. I do mind that the story sucks. Don't bother watching it!

The next day, Love took a leave and we spent such precious time just the two of us.

Started with my birthday gift; Thomas Sabo!! So pretty still can't stop staring at it!

And lunch at Tony Roma's. Yup.. I'm that typical. Again with Caesar Salad my fav dish.

And ended it with lasertag!! Just the two of us in that whole arena. No.. not romantic.. it was spooky, don't do that. Still, it was super fun!

There goes.. I'm another year wiser.

I love you a lot, Sayang. Thank you.. I had so much fun.. So much..

Berbuka with kesayangans Ramadhan 2014

We have missed the first two weekends of Ramadhan since Love was warded due to dengue.

That Friday after Love recovered, we went to TGI Friday's Paradigm Mall with my dearest Uniten clans. Incomplete since Mel, Farah and Mimi had to cancel last minute. But still so much fun nonetheless.

Look at my cranky baby

The venue selection was just so so. Traffic was super clear to Paradigm. We left at 615pm and we arrived just before buka. I booked a table earlier but they forgot our reservation. Not making me happy since they gave table at the outside and Khaira apa lagi.. running around lah since dekat dengan air pancut outside. Sigh.. But the surau in Paradigm was very convenient :)

My forever fav food in TGIF is always the Nachos!

Then, on Saturday we went to The Club for buka puasa with Love's relatives. Khaira by that time socialized well with kids near her age. Made our day ♥

Sunday, had our buka at my grandmom's crib. Sighh.. the only grandmom we have this year. I can't imagine how Raya would be..

Monday, went to Tony Roma's Citta Mall with Love's uni clans. Ok. Best gile. Service was superb. Food was delish. They threw us so many desserts and appetisers in the house. Would definitely go there again!! And boy, the surau was also convenient enough for me to bring Khaira in.

Ohh.. and Monday to Wednesday.. kids eat free! Khaira had so much fun because this particular branch is very kids friendly. And Tony Roma's always have the best caesar salad with grilled chicken. :)

Tuesday was Nuzul Quran. Had our usual buffet tradition at Kelab Darul Ehsan with the in laws. This year, they had violinist. Khaira was mesmerized so we had our buka peacefully. And later she danced non stop to the music. I have no complain at all on the food. But the surau, memang can be improved a lot lah. Hopefully next year.

Spot Khaira

The fourth weekend on Saturday, we had Papa John's all you can eat at IPC for buka with the Ampang clan. We bought the Groupon deal, RM 82 for 3 pax. The service in IPC was super duper slow.. totally wouldn't recommend this place for buka.

Then on Sunday, went to Cozy House for buka with my SABians dearest. Reservation please if you intend to buka here. And must place your order before 4pm on that day. No website for the menu, so must memorize the menu like that lah. So funny. Dah la ala carte served only after 8pm. But the food was super good so it was worth it.

The Friday just before Raya, I planned a date just the two of us with Love. Burger King + Hercules + all you can eat durian at SS2. It was a damn good one.

That Saturday, had dinner at Horizon Garden, Bangi with my family. It was a simple one, went back right after buka so we can have our Maghrib at home.

And the next day, Raya eve.. the tradition. We had all the ketupat and rendang for raya.

Alhamdulillah, ya Allah for giving me the opportunity to have this Ramadhan and Raya.. I must have been so blessed :)

Fighting with dengue

The nightmare began last Friday. Mom was down with fever since Wednesday. Khaira became feverish on Friday. And when I got home, I was feeling under the weather as well. Love cancelled his weekly futsal and headed straight home after his office's kenduri. He too fell sick after he massaged me.

Day 2.

Both Love and I were too weak to even drive to clinic. With the help of my brother, we arrived at the hospital and Khaira was given ubat bontot since the fever did not subside after normal medicine.

Day 3.

Decided to go back to clinic since Love and Khaira had temperature up to 40 degrees the night before. All of us including mom and brother who caught a fever as well by then had our blood test. Mom and I were ruled out of dengue immediately.  Love had a platelet count of 135,000 which was border line. Developed rashes on some part of his body.

Day 4.

After my pregnancy check up, we headed back to clinic since Love's temperature did not subside and he was having bad body ache. Blood test indicated that the platelet count dropped to 95,000 and he was given a referral letter. Went to Columbia Asia Puchong where he was confirmed to have dengue and admitted there straight away.

Day 5.

Aside from bad body ache and constant headache, fever was still around 38+ degrees. Platelet count dropped to 88,000. Brother was ruled out of dengue today.

Day 6.

White cell was normal but platelet count still dropped to 72,000. Doctor said as long as fever was there, hard for platelet count to go up again. He was out of drip but caused him extra dizziness and raised in temperature.

Day 7.

Drip again for a few hours to make him better. Temperature still around 38 degrees. Platelet count dropped to 62,000. Khaira was ruled out of dengue today.

Day 8.

Temperature slowly going down around 36 to 37 degrees. At noon hiked up a bit to 38. Platelet count still dropped to 58,000. Rashes started to itch and skin became thinner.

Day 9.

Temperature finally normal and platelet count went up to 95,000. Love has finally been discharged today!

In conclusion, it has been a tough week for all of us. I strongly believe Allah SWT wants to ease us up in other things, let's hope one of them is the delivery ♥

Preparing for every stage of your life

So I had a brunch with my colleagues just now when my ex-boss came and joined us. He was about to retire next month, I had high respect towards him when I was a student, even higher when he was my boss.

We had just a normal conversation at the beginning, but in the end, some of the things he said became the things I would remember for life.

"Women matured at the age of 27," he provoked. We laughed. I did not deny it, perhaps because some part of me feel like I'm a lot calmer nowadays, a lot at peace with everything.

"And really become a mother at the age of 36," he said.

"THIRTY SIX??" I asked and laughed.

"Yup. Parents nowadays do things heartlessly, lack of time management. When they feed their child, they do it heartlessly without passion and love in their heart. That is good enough as long as they're not looking at their phone or something.

Why is that so, because they're not prepared to have a child at the first place. Not physically, not mentally, not financially.

I prepared for every stage in my life. For me to retire, I prepare myself financially, physically even mentally for about a year ago."

And how to argue that with someone that achieves so much in life. That not only successful in career, but leaving the life I dream, travelling around the world with her wife non stop now.

*Insaf mode*

Our 4th year wedding anniversary

Love is being all romantic this year by taking a leave a day after our anniversary. So, we had a wonderful one. I would say it was complete.

That morning, we spent it with our little bundle of joy.

Then, after Friday prayer, Love and I headed to Mid Valley to watch The Other Woman.

Seriously, what in the world is this hotness?? And Love said Kate Upton is chubby (T_T) Whaaaaatttttt?

And we wrapped up our day with a candle light dinner in Victoria Station, Damansara. Had fun, just the two of us, peaceful conversation and wonderful meals.

Minute steak, my FOREVER favourite. Even when once they took it out from menu, it was still there.

It was perfect and it was complete.

Tq, Sayang :)

Happy 28th birthday, Love!!

It was Love's birthday today!! Yayy!!

We celebrated with a breakfast at Putrajaya, then we watched Flight. While he was out for Friday prayer, I prepared whatever left needed to be prepared for his homemade lunch birthday celebration.

I took a half day leave a day before. Shopped at Giant and cooked 3 hours straight. Another hour cleaning up.. oh my god exhausting! But totally worth it..

Look at this happy face..

For appetizer I tried Masterchef's onion soup, this is the most difficult and time consuming of all. I replaced Sherry with apple cider. So delicious!!

For main dish, I cooked salmon with shiitake and spinach, recipe from finedining.com. You totally get that fine dining feel, but I'm not a big fan of mushroom, so I rate this 3 over 5.

Then, for desert, I made cheesecake in a cup which I improvised from pink stiletto. So rich and awesome, Kapal loves it a lot.

Had pear and cranberry juice for the beverage. Both of us had a wonderful day to ourselves today.

Yesterday was our 12th anniversary and we had a humble celebration at Sunway with the little ones.

May Allah swt blesses our marriage and little family so we can stay happy and loving for the rest of our lives. Ameen.

What I've been up to :)

Since I'm done with PhD, which makes me suddenly realized how light my head is, I started doing all the things that I wanted to do all these while.

One of them is cooking new things.

I cooked new things almost every week now.

Among them are sushi, puff and pizza. Can you believe it? :)

As what my friends told me and what I'm gonna tell you now, if I can do it, so can anybody else.

I am yet to master my cooking. I gave up on Pavlova after my fourth attempts that ended up pretty much looking like a crepe :( So, I'm gonna share these simple recipe with you guys, because it is sooooo simple!

Sushi rice

3 cups of rice
Quarter cup of vinegar or apple cider (or rice wine)
3 tablespoon of sugar
1 teaspoon of salt

Pour all the ingredients in the rice cooker and cook

Puff

Roti paratha instant (my fav is kawanku)
Sardine, tuna, or whatever you like to put inside puff, my fav is chicken and cheese

Cut the paratha into 3slices
Put in sardine/tuna/chicken inside
Bake it at 220 degree Celsius for 20 minutes

The pizza crust (per serving)

2 cups high protein flour
1 teaspoon yeast
1 teaspoon sugar
2 teaspoons olive oil
3/4 cup warm water

Combine everything and mix to a soft dough.
Then leave it for half an hour under warm towel so it can rise.
Knead gently for 1 minute.
Put topping on top. I used tomato puree, some cooked sausage+chicken+pepper+egg, mixed herbs and grated parmesan cheese.

Love is super happy with the cooking. Khaira loves the pizza. My colleagues too. So, it's a happy cycle yay!

My 40 days jurnal inspirasi

Recently, one of my colleagues went to Celik Momz seminar by Prof Muhaya. And up until today, I kind of regret of not going. I don't even think I have a solid reason of not going, simply ignorant at that time. Next year then in shaa Allah.

It was I guess a life changing experience for this colleague of mine. She introduced to us the '40 hari jurnal inspirsi diri' by Prof. Muhaya. Bought one and left them for almost two months with only 1 page written on it.

At first, I kind of thought it was silly, you know the journals. It has like 5 parts for you to fill in every day; on what you would like to be physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually and financially. I thought, 5 things to do a day were burdening, what more to add 5 new things for every day until day 40. I don't like setting a sky high targets that makes you stop jumping to reach it half way through.

Only recently, this friend of mine thought us how to use the journal.

It works actually for your subconscious mind.. You wrote everyday, for 40 days on what you want to achieve. The same thing, for 40 days. So it will stick to your mind that you have to do it.

For me, because I get that satisfaction of crossing things out of my list once I was done with it, I wrote things I want to do everyday for 40 days; and I crossed it everyday once I'm done with it. There were days when I was unable to cross that list, and it pressured me to try better the next day. So, I super love this book!!!

The hardest thing to do for me, was the "emotional" part. Mine was to be nice to Love for 40 days. And of course, in shaa Allah after day 40 it becomes a habit. I told Love hoping he would be flattered. However, he told me, "Ohh Sayang, I'm gonna make it really hard for you!"

He did.

He purposely make himself so lurus bendul just to annoy me. I couldn't stand lurus bendulness, so there were days I did not manage to cross that one out of my list. Once, he even let me drive his car to work without any road tax to prove a point that if you're not paranoid about it, you would't get caught. There I was screaming at the top of my lungs at the other line of the phone to him once he told me when I arrived safely at home.

Funny right, the people you thought would help you most. (T_T)

Third year anniversary :)

Love had to go to Butterworth on our anniversary.

And a day before our anniversary, I had to attend a conference in Melaka. Lame :(

It was just a couple of days after our long break to Goldcoast, but being a sweetheart, Love took a leave and followed me to Melaka, of course together with Baby K.

But it was a short one. Checked in at Bayview after work on Monday night and check out first thing in the morning the next day.

The celebration was nothing to be remembered about. It was just another day for us.

But there's one thing I learned about on that day, on how much my husband sacrificed for me.. The fact that he postponed his outstation to accompany me to Melaka because he just couldn't bear I'm driving alone to Melaka and had to sleep without Khaira.

That's a big thing for me, because Love is VERY dedicated to work. And to be reminded that Khaira and I are always on top of his list just make my day :)

May we have a better celebration next year.

A good laugh

I don't usually get jokes. :(

Except the nerd ones. Yeah, lame!

When Love told me some jokes from his WhatsApp friends, he had to tell me at least twice, with some explanation on the jokes afterwards and ended it with, "Sayang, it's no longer fun when I have to explain the joke to you!"

Fine!

Take this one joke he told me recently..

Love: I wish if Jessica Biel had a son, she would name him "Batmo"
Me: Whaaatttt??

He repeated the jokes and said, "Sayang do you get it?"

Me: Batmo. No. Whattt?
Love: Try to combine the son's name with the surname.
Me: Still don't find it funny.
Love: Laaaa... Batmo Biel (as in Batmobile, Batman's car. WTH??)

*Crickets sound*

Love: Tak kelakar ke?
Me: Shouldn't it be Batmo Timberlake?

...

I'm that lame...

I didn't join in when my family gathered in front of the TV to watch Maharaja Lawak or Karoot Komedia, because I only understand perhaps about a quarter of the jokes. Which most of the times, Love thinks I misunderstood them. So. Sad.

But last night, Love and I decided to have a date night and to support our local quality movie, we watched Lawak Ke Der 2.

And Oh my Goddd... I had a good genuine laugh! Seriously. Was so funny that I feel like watching it all over again.

Go watch everybody! Let's support our local quality movie like this, yay! Kudos to Hans Isaac, Harith Iskander, Nabil, Boboi and Jozan. Jangan main2, now I can differentiate between Johan and Zizan already okeh!

Happy Lunar New Year to everyone whose celebrating it!!

What we did on CNY:

1. Grab a new phone :)

2. Bring Khaira Asyikin to KLCC park

Lasak like Abi!

3. Date with Love

Triple Decker O'Briens taste very different nowadays :(
4. And gathering with my loves

At Serai, gotta love the Pavlova but not the Cempedak Cheese (yes, we tried that thanks to Love (T_T))

Such a joyful holiday! In fact on Monday, we went to 4 shopping malls in a day. Had sooo much fun <3>

P/S: Watched the 'Silence of the lamb' finally. Okbye.
